BIO

I am Rodney L Best, Lutcf. I have spent 35 years in the financial service community. I started as a retail banking officer in 1979, with Wells Fargo Bank of Southern California. Once I learned the different operations of the banking system, I moved to Citicorp Diners Club in 1984, as a Territory Manager and remained 5 years. I covered all of Northern California and Southern Nevada.

I became intrigue with the trust division of the banking system and found myself employed with American National insurance company. I managed 12 agent during my stay and seen all 12 achieve national honors and one agent that was placed as the number 1 producer in the company while I managed in San Jose, California. Then I saw my Utopia. I signed an independent agent contract in 1996, with the then number one insurance company New York Life Insurance.

My ministry was to teach my today urban people and yesterday inner city people, how to have family protection and provide college funding and supplemental retirement in their lives.

My ministry lasted 17 years with the New York Life and today I have returned to teaching and training individual seeking an opportunity within life insurance sales. Kansas City Life insurance company has proven to be an excellent company for me providing sales training and agency development.

So there you have my life ladder of financial servicing. It's not over because the

BEST IS YET TO COME.

As my departed friend journalist Chauncey Bailey stated, I will always be remembered as the Michael Jordan of Life Insurance.
