Volunteer Preparation Guidance
We want to ensure all our volunteers are well-prepared for their Border 2 Border experience. Here's what you need to know:
Physical Preparation
Most trips involve moderate physical activity. We recommend regular walking and light exercise in the weeks leading up to your trip.
What to Pack
Comfortable work clothes, sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate gear, reusable water bottle, and personal items.
Cultural Sensitivity
We provide pre-trip orientation on local customs and cultural norms to ensure respectful engagement with community members.
Health & Safety
All trips have first-aid trained staff. Please inform us of any medical conditions or requirements beforehand.
