Jazz Saxophonist Extraordinaire
LaRoy is a fine player with a soulful sound who often caresses melodies with inspiration in his solos. He started playing professionally in the 80’s. His career included playing at the 54 Ballroom for the unveiling of the United States Post office Blues Stamp. LaRoy freelances locally and has shared the platform with music artist such as Smokey Robinson, The Emotions, Alana Reed, Tata Vega, Paul Jackson Jr. Jazz Player and many others.
LaRoy is a member of the National Recording Arts and Science, Inc and ASCAP. He has also been featured in Lake Havsau Living Magazine.
