One of the finest jazz singers of this generation

Every now and then a singer comes along that can take a classic and make it their own - Billy Holiday, Dinah Washington, Ella Fitzgerald - and now Barbara Morrison. Actually, Barbara's been around a long time, unfortunately until now we haven't had the opportunity to hear her "Confessin the Blues" as she does on the first track of this CD. The title is appropriate because she doesn't just sing the song but indeed confesses her feelings and her tremendous voice through the song. From that point on you are given the opportunity to hear one the finest singers of this generation.
