Guest: Quinn Harris of Tavares/Music Director, Singer and Musician

Quinn Harris was born in Marshall, TX and raised in Riverside CA. His father was a strict disciplinarian and his mother was both maturing and encouraging. As a child he participated in a lot of sports and music programs.
Army Boot-Camp and the Fifth Second Army Band were the turning points in his life. One exposed him to the realities of survival and the other exposed him to the possibilities of success.
His education consisted of the following: 3 ½ years of studies at the Berklee College of Music In Boston, MA(AA Degree), 4 years at UC Riverside (BA Degree) 1 yr at CA Baptist College in Riverside(Teaching Credentials) and 1 year at National University in the Master’s Program in San Bernardino, CA.
Since retiring in 2005 He has promoted “Doo Wopp” and “Old Scholl” concerts, sponsored music education programs for disadvantaged youths and young adults and he has recorded several gospel, jazz and blues CD’s to help finance most of these projects.
Somewhere in the midst of all of this, he found Jesus and if he has had any success he says let it be known the God gets all the glory.
